Cycling the Pamir Highway Part Two || WO2W (EP.10)

We are currently on a bicycle tour around the world. Our trip started in April 2017 and we have been cycling east ever since. We crossed the to the Pamir Highway in August and are currently in SE Asia. After completing this section of the trip we fly to Australia & NZ and finally the Americas. In these videos, we hope to show you what our life is like on the road. In this episode we delve deeper into the Pamirs, riding up higher than ever before over two 4000m passes. As we ascended we battled against the thinning air but soaked up the dramatic mountain views. Leaving Khorog we decided to have our own bike touring Brexit leaving Bas and Marc...in reality they opted for the Wahkan whilst we stuck to the M41, it was sad to say goodbye but we hoped to see them again. It was the first time we unpacked our warm clothes with temperatures dropping as we climbed. The wind caused us some issues with camping, but riding in more temperate weather felt effortless sometimes. Arriving into Murghab was a memorable day, with the longest descent we'd ever had. 40km downhill in the crisp air with the beautiful mountains to gaze at all morning was a great end to the middle part of the Pamirs.
