The Strangest House in Oblivion... What Was It Really For?

What was Nerastarel's house supposed to be used for in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? The house is locked down and the backyard is all burnt up. Inside, the player will find a variety of undead creatures. What's more, the Skingrad manor is completely smashed up. Containers are broken, sacks are ripped, furniture is flipped over and the dishware is scattered. Join me as I try and find out what Bethesda's intent for this house was. Perhaps it was a cut side quest, or even a mages guild quest that got cut out. Maybe it was never meant to have any meaning, or maybe i was for Falanu Hlaalu.
