In that time he has played over 4000 gigs and has opened for Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd, REO Speedwagon, Restless Heart, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, Chris Duarte, Thompson Square, Whitey Morgan, Charlie Robison, Jason Boland, Indigenous, Willie ‘Big Eyes’ Smith, Joe Nichols, Turnpike Troubadours, Little Texas, Two Tons of Steel, Dale Watson, and many more. Korey is a Professor of Guitar and Modern Music, and the former head of both the Guitar Division and the Music Theory Division at Visible Music College, and is an in-demand guitar and theory instructor. He attended Berklee College of Music, has a Bachelor's of Music in Guitar Performance, and has a Master's Degree in Guitar Performance from Oklahoma State University.
