Tea Tasting with a Tea Farmer in Taipei, Taiwan

Want to immerse yourself in Taiwanese tea culture and experience an unforgettable day? Visit the Maokong area of Taipei, which is known for its tea farms and tea houses. Tea farms line the mountainous region and produce primarily two types of tea: Iron Buddha and Baozhong. In this video, we visit the Tea Promotion Centre where farmers bring their teas for sampling and sale. We have the good fortune to meet Mr. Chang, a local farmer who is a seventh generation tea farmer. His family has been farming here since the 1700s when they brought seeds over from China.
