Planting Tomatoes at Last! Cold Nights, Rain and Warmer Than Athens!🏛️🌞

After weeks of cold night-time temperatures, rain, and big woolly jumpers, it’s finally time to plant out the tomatoes! My growhouse has been absolutely packed and the plants are desperate to get put into the garden. In this video I’m planting tomatoes in both the front and back garden, chatting through the different varieties I’m growing and how I choose the strongest plants to go outside. I also show how to plant tomatoes deeply to develop a powerful root system, how to fill large planters without using loads of expensive compost, and which flowers attract the most bees to help pollinate your tomatoes. And yes… according to the forecast we are apparently getting weather as warm as Athens this weekend — even though it keeps raining on me!
