Finding Joy in Countryside Living | First Spring Work in the Cottage Garden | Sewing a Curtain
As the first warm days return to the countryside, I spend a quiet spring day between the garden and my cozy kitchen — cooking homemade food, sewing a new curtain, and enjoying the gentle rhythm of simple living. Welcome to a gentle spring day at home. I invite you to share calm countryside moments: caring for the garden after winter, preparing a comforting homemade dinner, and sewing a light kitchen curtain that brings a fresh feeling of spring into the house. 🌿 What you’ll find in this video: Early spring garden work — trimming dry leaves and discovering the first sprouts of tulips, hellebore, and narcissus Sewing a new light kitchen curtain from vintage second-hand fabric — measuring, preparing ruffles, and slowly transforming the kitchen window Cleaning the garden path and placing a bird water bowl in the garden First balcony cleaning after winter — washing windows, doors, and refreshing the space for the new season A cozy homemade dinner in the countryside kitchen — meatball soup with cream cheese and a quick potato bake with mozzarella and salmon Repotting primroses and bringing a fresh spring feeling to the balcony Baking a soft cocoa cake for tomorrow’s breakfast A quiet morning with Murik the cat and a small sewing project made from the last pieces of fabric Finding Joy in Countryside Living | First Spring Work in the Cottage Garden | Sewing a Curtain 🌷 What this vlog is about: This video captures the gentle transition into spring in the countryside — when the garden slowly wakes after winter, when fresh light enters the house, and when small handmade details like a new curtain can change the feeling of a familiar room. If you enjoy cottagecore, slow living, cozy kitchen cooking, countryside homemaking, sewing projects, cottage garden inspiration, and peaceful home routines, this video may feel like a calm and comforting pause in your day. Chocolate Marble Cake Ingredients 3 eggs 180 g sugar 100 g sunflower oil 130 g water (room temperature) 240 g all-purpose flour 25 g cocoa powder (unsweetened) 25 g flour (for the second part of the batter) 16 g baking powder 1 packet vanilla sugar or 1 tsp vanilla powder Instructions Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar using a mixer for about 10 minutes, until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Add the sunflower oil and water, then mix until combined. Gradually add the flour mixed with the baking powder and stir until a smooth batter forms. Divide the batter into two equal parts. Add the cocoa powder to one part and the remaining flour (25 g) to the other. Pour the batters alternately into a baking pan greased with butter. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) for 30–40 minutes, depending on your oven. • Just Stay • Lifting Dreams • English Country Garden • Angel’s Dream • The Beauty of Love • No.9 Esther’s Waltz #slowliving #cottagecore #simpleliving #countrysidelife #countryliving #cottagecoreaesthetic #cozykitchen #homemaking #sewingproject #sewingcurtain #diycurtain #handmadewithlove #cottagestyle #cottagelife #cottagegarden #springvibes #springhomemaking #peacefullife #slowmorning #simplemoments #vintagestyle #secondhandfinds #homedecor #cozyhome #countryvlog
