Tea Plantations remain one of the main tourist attraction in Munnar. However, it is not advisable to go there in the monsoon due to insects. Munnar Hill station is also famous for its scenic views. In fact it is very different that other tourist places in Kerala. Here is my route for Munnar: Mumbai to Kochi by flight and Kochi to Munnar by road.
