Wise Anderson Protocol - Explaining Paradoxical Relaxation For Pelvic Pain and Prostatitis

The focus of paradoxical relaxation is specifically avoided for the first few months of relaxation training due to risk of the focus aspect exacerbating symptoms. It is recommended that competence in relaxation is primarily received. Upon instruction the patient is guided to redirect attention away from discursive thinking by targeting brain waves of a low frequency.
