After returning from Nabhidhang which is a view point of Om Parvat, we headed towards Adi Kailash also known as (Chhota Kailash). On the way, we hade to leave our bike on our way as we couldn't cross Ganesh Naala which originates from Ganesh Parvat (6532 m). This place is solace seeker's paradise. 🖤 🏔 Om Parvat (5,590 m) - This Himalayan peak is located in Pithoragarh District, Uttarakhand, India. The elevation of this peak is 5,590 m (18,340 ft) above the sea level. It is considered sacred by Hindus and its snow deposition pattern resembles the sacred 'Om' (ॐ) symbol. Om Parvat can be viewed on the route to the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. Om Parvat is located near Nabhi Dhang camp. This mountain marks the tri-junction point where borders of Tibet, Nepal and India meet. 🏔 Adi Kailash (5,945 m) - Adi Kailash (आदि कैलाश), also known as Shiva Kailash, Chota Kailash, Baba Kailash or Jonglingkong Peak, is a mountain located in the Himalayan mountain range in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India. At the bottom of the mighty peak quietly exists a lake, known as Gaurikund, which beautifully mirrors the Adi Kailash, Parvati Sarovar (also known as Manasarovar) is another lake near the peak. It is much smaller than its namesake (Manasarovar Lake, Tibet). Near the shoreline stands a shrine of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. 🌊 Mahakali River - The Sharda River, also called Kali River and Mahakali River, originates at Kalapani in the Himalayas at an elevation of 3,600 m (11,800 ft) in the Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand, India. It flows along Nepal's western border with India and has a basin area of 14,871 km2 (5,742 sq mi). It joins Ghaghra River, a tributary of the Ganges.[1] It takes the name Kali River from the union of the two streams at Gunji as it flows through the hills. On our first day, we came to know that we have to get a pass from Dharchula to visit these places. We stayed at Dharchula on our first day and got our passes.
