We decided to explore the breathtaking Neelkanth Basecamp Trek — an adventurous 8–9 km Himalayan hike starting from Badrinath Valley. Known as one of the most powerful and spiritual mountains of the Garhwal Himalayas, Neelkanth stands tall with an aura that feels truly divine. This 5-6 day expedition took us through rugged trails, glaciers, hidden valleys, snow-covered landscapes, and some of the most majestic Himalayan views we have ever witnessed. The official Basecamp lies at an altitude of around 3800m, but our journey didn’t stop there — we pushed further up to nearly 4300m, getting even closer to the mighty Neelkanth Peak. Every step of this trek felt spiritual, peaceful, and unforgettable. The silence of the mountains, changing weather, dramatic clouds, and the raw beauty of the Himalayas made this journey one of the most special experiences of our lives.
