Restored Customer gets a Boxcar Delivered, but not without complications! Taunton, MA - 4/10/2026

In his video we’re going to see Mass Coastal railroad switch out a restored customer in Taunton, Massachusetts, but not without complications. The customer siding’s location, storage cars parked on it, and miscommunication stretched out the switching process. The customer started to receive cars here in 2023 after their siding was rebuilt during the south coast rail project. Since then deliveries have been sporadic and storage cars for another customer end up stored here. You’ll see what that became an issue later in this video. To start off we see MC 2014 leaving Cotley Junction and heading for MBTA territory on the Stevens freight track. This location is right at the East Taunton commuter rail station.
