1V, 0.9V REGULATOR IC SHORTED! ⚠️ HP 2570p NO POWER FIX

⚡ HP 2570p with a no power complaint, but this repair wasn't as straightforward as it first appeared. The entire 19V power rail was healthy, which meant the fault was hiding deeper in the power sequence. Instead of replacing parts blindly, I followed the voltage rails step by step. After probing the 1V/0.9V power section, I discovered that the regulator IC had developed an internal short, preventing the standby voltages from being generated. Without these rails, the motherboard had no chance of powering up. Once the faulty 1V/0.9V regulator IC was replaced, the standby voltages were restored immediately.
