It's based off of Game Maker's Toolkit's video on "What Makes a Good Detective Game". Here's the link, it's a great video and I love that channel:    • What Makes a Good Detective Game?   Episode 3 on the dark journey to tutorialize the making of a game like Monkey Island. We will be integrating movement with the free visual-scripting tool called Fungus! Fungus will act as the basis for our clickable objects, our dialogue system, and much more. In this video, I cover the 8 directional point and click movement, how to work with the animator and blend trees, and make it so our character doesn't keep walking into walls. Next week, I will cover my unique trick to organize sorting layers. I completed a Monkey Island style, Point and Click adventure game style character controller for this tutorial!
