We will be integrating movement with the free visual-scripting tool called Fungus! Fungus will act as the basis for our clickable objects, our dialogue system, and much more. In this video, I cover simple Point and Click movement, simple collisions, and I show a solution for the Perspective Trick used in Monkey Island to make the player larger or smaller, based on their "distance" from the camera. Next week, we will go into depth on a smarter way to handle player navigation, and collisions. Music in the video by me. I completed a Monkey Island style, Point and Click adventure game style character controller for this tutorial! I submitted it for the Unofficial, unofficial Fungus Game Jam KOMBUCHAM 2021, you can go play it for free here: https://jollyfranchers.itch.io/the-be...
