Today I went to two forgotten villages. The first seems to have been deserted only recently: the houses are still furnished, things are hanging, children's books and old photographs are lying around. It seems the owners were only just leaving... But the locks have already been picked. In the second village, time and looters have left almost no trace of their former life. Many houses are in ruins, floors are gone, and everything of value has long since been carried away. We'll stroll through the empty streets, peer into abandoned houses, and try to understand what life was like in these places before they were abandoned.
