History of Demerara Rum

Guyana has a fascinating history of rum production. At one point there were as many as 350 distilleries in the country and now there is just one. Demerara Distillers Limited has done something that no one else has. They’ve preserved the history of their country through the heritage of their stills that have been in use for centuries.
