XXL tulip bulb planting | John Deere 8370RT Special | 2.25m Koops planter

Tulip bulb planting XXL style with Dutch grower VOF Dogterom Oude-Tonge. Planting the bulbs is done using a brand new outfit. A specially modified John Deere 8370RT on row crop tracks is used. On the front sits an AVR Ge-Force hook tine cultivator. The tractor has been fitted with a front loader and roof-top hopper that holds 5-6 boxes of bulbs. The Koops planter is an all-new 2.25m wide model which uses double netting. The bulbs are squashed between the 2 nets and, come harvest, lifted out of the ground without soil. Both the tractor and planter are steered using Trimble RTK-GPS. The stubble field is freshly ploughed using a New Holland T7030 with Kverneland LO 100 Variomat plough. A special 'loading station' is used to fill the tractors' hopper. Boxes are emptied using a Claas Scorpion 7035 Varipower telehandler. More? Visit our website: http://www.agrifoto.nl.
