Woodturning - Egg cups made from Ekki (Azobe or Ironwood). Natural cycle from wood chips to eggs 🐔
What do I do with the wood chips from the woodturning? I give it away. They are scattered in a chicken coop.🐔 I made two egg cups for the owner of the chickens. We now have a nice natural cycle from wood chips to fresh eggs. The chickens love the wood chips. The egg cups are made from Ekki. Also known as Azobe or Bongossi (or its Latin name, Lophira Alata). Ekki is also called Red Ironwood because it is an extremely strong and hard type of wood. #Ironwood #Fresh-eggs
