Szokująco strome Góry Wałbrzyskie! | Góra Zamkowa i Borowa na trasie z Wałbrzycha do Andrzejówki #1

The first day of our trip was the Wałbrzych - Andrzejówka shelter section. Castle Mountain and Borowa are also on this route, even though we chose the green trail from Wałbrzych to Szklarska Poręba as the main axis of our trip. Its goal was again the Crown of Polish Mountains. So we hiked through the Wałbrzyskie Mountains, the Kamienne Mountains, Rudawy Janowickie and the Kaczawskie Mountains to conquer the 4 highest peaks of these ranges. The green long-distance trail, of course, does not run through the Kaczawskie Mountains, but since we have already been to the Karkonosze Mountains and we wanted to conquer as many peaks as possible in one go, we joined the blue trail in the Ore Mountains to march to the Kaczawskie Mountains. Moreover, since it is not Chełmiec, but Borowa, in fact, is the highest peak of the Wałbrzyskie Mountains, we decided to climb it, also taking a small break from the green trail. And the favorable opinions about the Nowy Dwór castle encouraged us to visit it. So we set off, not knowing what steep slopes awaited us! And not only the slope was a challenge, but also the fact that the paths were sandy and crumbly and you had to be really careful not to roll! It was an adventure! See for yourself!
