Waligóra nie taka straszna | Zielony szlak z Wałbrzycha do Szklarskiej Poręby (fragment) #2

The Crown of Polish Mountains has a certain peak on its list, about which we have heard rumors and legends. This is Waligóra, where it is said to be incredibly steep! Is it true? And yes, it is steep, but not as much and not as long as on Borowa, where we were the day before. Anyway, he fell to us that day without much effort. When we descended, we took our backpacks, left the charming Andrzejówka shelter and set off on the green long-distance trail from Wałbrzych to Szklarska Poręba. That day we had to cover a section from Andrzejówka to Boguszów - Gorce. The route leads through the charming village of Sokołowsko and the less charming Unisław Śląski. The trail to Unisław is extremely idyllic, but then it unfortunately loses its charm. From Unisław we started climbing to Dzikowiec Wielki. Unfortunately, most of the green trail here is devastated by cutting down trees and is not very pleasant to walk. We didn't bother to go to the observation tower, and the views from the top are modest. However, when you pass the Bald Tree, a vast, wonderful panorama opens up! After leaving Dzikowiec, we went to Boguszów. We marched to the highest town hall in Poland, because we had an overnight stay nearby. We also visited Bar Baryt, where they serve the best goulash in the world! Be sure to check it out! And we ended the day with this hearty lunch... The Kamienne Mountains have their own charm and secrets that we have not yet explored, and the Suche Mountains near Andrzejówka impressed me particularly with their idyllic landscapes.
