Relaxing Lighthouse Sketch for People Over 50 | Ep 3

I created this piece initially for my own stress reduction and having to think about work all the time. I hope this video can bring some relaxation and mindfulness to your life as you may be dealing with different challenges at work and with relationships. I am currently 53 year old dad of 3 kids working hard at my job during day time and painting at night dealing with life’s many changes such as empty nesting, aging and uncertain future. I started to paint again back in 2019 in the back seat of my car. After work, I would drive around my neighborhood close to my home. I would park my car in a quiet parking lot of a park and get out my painting tool box and start painting something simple. I know this is not the most perfect art piece but just the process of creating for 20-30 minutes helped me to reduce stress and anxiety about work and life in general. These days, I paint in the corner of my garage ( as a mini studio!) before and after work.
