Basic buggy build and T2D at The Goodwood Revival 2024

We’ve built a few traditional buggies over the years from Empi Imps to Meyers Manx but this build hits a little bit different. We wanted to build a basic, brutalist, modern buggy with a limited colour palette and a couple of tasteful but beautifully engineered mods while still keeping the traditional buggy ethos. Big rear tyres, lightweight, small but hopped up engine, quick and agile, everything a short wheel based beach buggy has always represented, but most importantly, fun. The timing of this build coincided with a buggy spectacular at the Goodwood Revival so we just had to finish it for then to display on our stand. We were honoured to be asked by Meyers Manx to not only look after one of their original cars before the event but to take part in the buggy parade round the Goodwood circuit on the Friday and Saturday, an unforgettable experience thanks to Micheal Gross and Ben from Floyd for the seat time.
