Day 1 of reading feminist works: the different perspectives of/in feminism

Okay so I am lowkey just posting this for myself and to work on being consistent with things because I want to do huge things in life and to do that I have to be disciplined BUT I have always had a section in my brain labeled "feminism" and I really want to learn more about how other people view feminism so that I can fully understand how I view feminism. I didn't edit this video because I full heartedly believe that it is okay to see the "imperfections" or pauses, breathes and general thinking moments in seeing someone speak. That is like a lost art in youtube videos. Speaking on the topics in the video thought, I am really excited to be on this journey because like, I have never done anything like this before and this book (Feminist Theory Reader) edited by Carole R. McCann and Seung-kyung Kim has SOOOOOO many feminist works with different takes and perspectives of feminism. That quote, "Our relational connections, past, present, and future, make us who we are and who we may become," is really sticking with me because, outside of a feminist lens, this is TRUE especially when you think about it psychology wise. We are what we have lived! And when you think about it like that you start to realize that everything we do is a reaction to or from how we have lived and what we have seen.
