Great Central Railway - Autumn Diesel Gala 2025 | 5/9/2025

All trains are shown in order as seen on Friday 5th September 2025. Its my favourite time of year and the legendary diesel locomotives at the Great Central Railway are put into action for the 2025 Autumn Gala. Three special guest locomotives join in the fun. Severn Valley Railway's very own Class 14 'Teddy Bear', Class 35 Hymek D7098 courtesy of the West Somerset Railway and a Class 27 which once hauled royalty now cared for by the Caledonian Railway Diesel Group. Ryan and I start at Loughborough Central and make our way to Kinchley Lane and finally at Rothley for some Deltic thrash. Thank you to Ryan MG and all the volunteers/staff who made the day one not to be forgotten easily.
