Lappa Valley's 50th anniversary | 16.6.24 | ft. the return of Zebedee | pt. 1

Back at Lappa valley once again to celebrate their 50th anniversary gala. This part sees a range of locomotives of all shapes and sizes including as said in the title, the return of locomotive No. 1 Zebedde, the first ever locomotive to haul the first service in this little world of miniature Cornish traction. Now out of her 3 year overhaul, she has a stunning red coat of paint with Lappa Valley printed immaculately on each side, working hard as she can, and sounding terrific with her loud whistle. Also featured in this video is 'The Cornishman' which is the non stop service going right through East Wheal Rose station at quite a speed and one of the 3 'Great Races' of 2024 across the anniversary weekend where 2 trains race down the paralell part of the mainline. This one featuring 'Zebedee' and 'City of Derby' (the side I chose) and 'Muffin' and 'Ellie' who in the end sadly were the winning team as even though No. 1 is once again raring to go, still is suffering from a few minor faults so is why we ended up losing.
