On September 30, 2018, a 21-year-old student pilot crashed into a parking lot adjacent to the airport during his approach to landing at Essen/Mühlheim Airport. He died instantly as a result of the impact. In the following video, I would like to use the BFU accident report to visualize this tragic accident in order to improve flight safety.
