Street Running on the Juniata Valley RR (4K)
I few months back I visited the Juniata Valley Railroad in Lewistown PA. The railroad is a part of the North Shore shortline system. The railroad serves a steel mill in Burnham, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays, and Thursdays, they serve a large scrap yard near Maitland. A unique part of this railroad is it's use of a classic SW900 in a PRR inspired paint scheme. North Shore has a variety of locomotives in fallen flag schemes. Also on the railroad is street running through Water St. and Chestnut St.
