Ep. 2 Backpacking in beautiful Japan! Northern Alps: Kamikochi to Karasawa Tent Site

Day two of my adventure through Japan's Northern Alps region in Chubusangaku National Park: After a night at the drum festival in Matsumoto, I headed from my hostel to the train station so that I could take a train to the bus into Kamikochi-- yes, it's a journey! From Kamikochi, I walked/hiked past two different tent campgrounds & lodge areas until I began the ascent up to Karasawa Hutte where I pitched my tent on that rocky terrain with insanely gorgeous views.
