On July 16th, 2026, I actually drove on the Kinugawa Techno-dori (National Route 408 Bypass), which was fully opened on July 11th. The Kinugawa Techno-dori is a regional high-standard road approximately 14.1 km long, connecting Mooka City and Utsunomiya City. It's a rare road in Japan, as it's a public road but has a maximum speed limit of 80 km/h. This time, I drove the entire newly opened section. Furthermore, I checked the entrance signs to see if motorcycles under 125cc (including Class 2 mopeds) are allowed on the main road. In conclusion, motorcycles under 125cc are prohibited from using the main Kinugawa Techno-dori; they must use the side roads.
