-------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBSCRIBE / LIKE / SHARE -------------------------------------------------------------------------- #pistonbikers #kawasaki #ninja #mechanics -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1166 | KAWASAKI NINJA ZX6R-600 WON'T START PART #1 In this video we show you how we diagnosed this Kawasaki Ninja-600 (ZX6R) track bike which the owner tells us was starting and pulling and for work reasons he had to leave the bike abandoned for a while but his family was in charge of starting it from time to time so the engine wouldn't stick and on one of those occasions the bike suddenly stopped starting and only cranked so the owner took it to a couple of workshops to check it but because it is a high displacement motorcycle not many wanted to receive it and that's when he contacted us and asked us to help him with his motorcycle case and we did a diagnosis to see why this engine wouldn't start and we began doing tests where we discovered that the ECU was emitting injection pulses and that on the positive side there were 12v and everything pointed to it not being an injection problem, but the situation changed We connected a Hantek 1008c oscilloscope and checked the injection pulses. We realized that the graph indicated that the injector was mechanically stuck, but as we all know, with 3 or less injectors the motorcycle should start, and why isn't it doing so? The question here is, could it be that all 8 injectors were clogged? And the answer is yes, since we detected that the motorcycle had water in the gas tank. This happened because the drain was blocked by branches and leaves from a tree. The tank filled with water. This water settled at the bottom and is the first thing the gas pump sucks when starting.
