Testing The Garlic Railway Wagons - And Ukrainians To The Rescue! (And Others Too..)

In this video, we are putting our latest workshop project to the test out in the field. We’ve designed and built two custom narrow-gauge railway wagons featuring integrated, multi-tier garlic drying racks. Instead of loading up a heavy, soil-compacting tractor, we can load these wagons directly between the crops and smoothly roll the crop straight into the shelter of the shed with minimal effort. It’s proving to be an efficient, low-impact alternative for smallholdings and market gardens. We also had a fantastic group of Ukrainian refugees come down to help us load the bulbs. Despite the English language barrier, we had a brilliant day working together, sharing laughs, and getting a massive amount of work done.
