CSX Q372 with an ST70AH, CSX Autoparts boxcar, and B&O gondola passes Duffields (FHD)

This was the second of the two eastbounds that passed the stopped special train, and boy was this a good one. We knew that CSX Q372 was on the way from Cumberland, and would take the Old Main Line at Point of Rocks, as it always does due to its hazardous materials in the tanker cars. What we didn't know was what was on this Q372, specialty-wise. Well, we sure got a few surprises, especially a rare tier 4 EMD SD70ACe: officially titled an ST70AH. There are only 10 ST70AHs on CSX's roster, numbered from 8900 to 8909. I had yet to see one before this train, and boy was I happy (and obviously surprised) to see this. Sorry if I got a little too excited in this video, but I was just not expecting it at all. Boy was I happy though. With all the rare locomotives I've seen on CSX, there were only two types of locomotives I wanted to see to fill my CSX "bucket list" before heading off to college. One of them was a tier 4 ACe. Well, I can check that one of the list, as now I only need (well, needed) 1 more type of locomotive to completely fill it. This Q372 also consisted of a CSX Autoparts boxcar (the extended car), which is pretty rare despite it not being a fallen flag. There was a fallen flag on this train, too, as shortly after the mid DPUs, there was a B&O gondola. Not bad, I must say, as I haven't seen many of these. This was also the longest Q372 I had ever seen and the 3rd longest manifest I've seen. The longest being that 800 axle Q415 I caught at Point of Rocks back on June 18. Also, this was our last train at Duffields, as I headed to a different location right afterwards to (hopefully) catch the special trains still yet to pass through the area. You all will find out very shortly if I was successful. This manifest train, heading from Cumberland, Maryland to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed by the Flowing Springs Road crossing in Duffields, West Virginia. June 21, 2021, 8:14 pm.
