One Way Door Removal – Squirrel Exclusion (Guelph)

Final squirrel exclusion work was completed at this Guelph property after the squirrels had successfully left the attic and the mother had relocated her babies. With no further wildlife activity reported, the temporary one way door was removed and the roofline prepared for permanent sealing. The temporary exclusion setup was dismantled and the damaged soffit was carefully repositioned to restore the original roofline as much as possible. Custom wildlife exclusion mesh was then installed over the soffit intersection to permanently secure the former squirrel entry point. The reinforced mesh protects the vulnerable corner from future chewing, prying, and wildlife access while maintaining the appearance of the roofline. Soffit intersections are among the most common squirrel entry points because they often contain small structural gaps that can be enlarged over time. Once wildlife has safely exited through the one way door, permanent sealing and reinforcement complete the squirrel exclusion process and prevent future re-entry.
