Part 8 of my Final Fantasy VIII Musical Story Series. The exam is over, the rank is earned, and now it's time for the SeeD Inauguration Ball! ✨ This video tackles one of the most famous and beautiful CGI cutscenes in gaming history: Squall and Rinoa meeting for the first time and the iconic "Waltz for the Moon." I'm still dialing in my new video creation tools, so getting the emotional expressions and the smooth dancing right was a fun new challenge. It’s a bit different from the heavy action of Dollet or the Fire Cavern, but this moment is essential to the story! I hope I did this classic scene justice. Looking at the beauty in the smiling eye. Fireworks are bursting in a flash of gold. Story of the garden is about to unfold. Then she sees a face and has to slip away.
