Antalya-Köprülü Canyon National Park contains many natural and historical beauties. Selge Ancient City is located in the mountainous land to the west of Köprüçay, which is fed by underground waters. The theatre, agora, temples of Zeus and Artemis, and cisterns of the Ancient City of Selge, which dates back 2500 years and has hosted many civilizations, are some of the areas that attract tourists to the city today. Due to the insufficient land and water resources in the village and the fact that the village is located within the borders of a protected area and a national park, agriculture and animal husbandry have decreased considerably and have come to an end. The village people started to earn their living by providing food and beverage services and selling souvenirs to the tourists coming to the Ancient City. Erkan's parents are one of the last few families that continue animal husbandry today.
