Laminate Sample #43a: Vacuum Bagged Stitched Mat with Kerdyn PET Core
After a very long time, here is Laminate Sample #43a - and it's about a kind of chopped strand mat that has stitching instead of binder and is epoxy compatible. It's also about Gurit Kerdyn PET core, which is made from recycled material. See links to materials below. And it's also about me struggling to stick my bag sealant tape because of very a slippery release agent! There is going to be a #43b, which will have the same materials, but will be infused. I am going to go into more detail about the core and resin uptake there. Sorry for the 20 month delay in making more videos! I'm working on bunch more and hope to get back on a regular-ish schedule.
