During these December days, at the Saint-Joseph Monastery in Brou-sur-Chantereine, in the Île-de-France region, the casting of santons of Christ Crucified by the Benedictines is in full swing, shortly before the Christmas holidays. This congregation is unique in that it welcomes nuns with disabilities or health problems. Here, the sisters of the community live the monastic life according to the Rule of Saint Benedict, regardless of their state of health.
