HUGE French Brocante Haul! | Family Day at a Vide Grenier in Roquebrune-sur-Argens

A Family Day Thrifting in the South of France | Roquebrune-sur-Argens Brocante & Haul This Sunday we took a 40 minute drive from Cannes to visit the large vide grenier / brocante in Roquebrune-sur-Argens – and wow, it did not disappoint! If you’ve been here for a while you’ll know we love a good French flea market. Some can be full of rubbish, some ridiculously overpriced (the tourist tax is real!)… but this one turned out to be an absolute gem. I was on the hunt for authentic, aged garden pots and those one-off pieces that you just can’t find in the shops. Nancy is getting more and more into thrifting too – she has such a cool eye and can make anything look stylish. I honestly love taking the kids along to these. It’s such a slow-paced, family-friendly way to spend a Sunday, and such a good way for them to learn the value of money and appreciate quality over quantity. In this vlog we take you around the market with us, share all our finds, and at the end we do a full haul with prices. My favourite buy of the day has to be a full stainless steel pan set with brass handles – hardly used and such beautiful quality. We also picked up a set of heavy copper pans that need re-lining, so that will be another adventure to share with you soon! After the vide grenier, we wandered into the pretty streets of Roquebrune-sur-Argens village and finished our perfect family day out with a meal in a little local restaurant.
