Favourite Five- Neocolor II

Another in my popular series of Favourite Five colours in a particular medium and this time it is Neocolor II. These are handy little sticks of colour and even moreso if you are heading out into the world to sketch things and you need to keep the luggage down. I love that I can sketch with them, use them as watercolour and, above all, layer other favourite materials over the top. A couple of neocolors and a water brush. Case packed! Well almost.... I have chosen my favourite five Neocolor IIs and one hon. mention and I will swatch them for you and then show you how I would use them in a mixed media sketch of the sea.
