【氷ノ山 登山】氷ノ山キャンパーズヴィレッジから氷ノ越コースで登る日本二百名山！　2024年8月

Mt. Hyonose (Wakasa Town, Yazu District, Tottori Prefecture / Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture) On the second day of our Tottori expedition, we headed to Mt. Hyonose, one of Japan's 200 famous mountains. By the way, Mt. Hyonose is located on the border between Tottori and Hyogo Prefectures and is also the highest peak in Hyogo Prefecture. This time, we took the Koonokoshi Course, starting from Mt. Hyonose Campers Village! We parked in the parking lot at Hibiki no Mori, which is also Mt. Hyonose's visitor center and has restrooms, which was very convenient! The hiking trail to Mt. Hyonose was clear and very easy to follow. The name "Mt. Hyonose" gave me the impression of a cold, rugged mountain, but it turned out to be surprisingly gentle with few steep climbs. This time, we were climbing Mt. Hyonose on the Koonokoshi Course, so we started by climbing towards Koonokoshi. There's a slightly tougher climb before reaching Koonokoshi, so be prepared! However, once you reach Konokoshi, there's a shelter and benches, so you can take a good rest. Konokoshi is about halfway to Mt. Hyonose. The trail from Konokoshi to Mt. Hyonose remains clear, but there are more steep sections. Please be careful as you will be climbing over rocky areas. At the beginning of the climb, the sky was foggy and white, and I thought the view would be impossible... But halfway up Mt. Hyonose, the fog cleared dramatically, and I was rewarded with a beautiful view!! 😊 However, the fog continued to clear up and return, but...😅 When I arrived at the summit of Mt. Hyonose, I was greeted with a spacious space and a magnificent shelter. It's a magnificent summit with a 360-degree view!
