Back In Black. Three Days Camping In Rain and Sun. Spring Flood On The Black River.
Jason Bayens and I hit the Black River for three days of canoeing and camping during spring flood. With plenty of rain recently, the river is swollen and in many places has overflown it's banks. Many rapids that we expected to run were buried by the high water levels but thanks to all that water we made the 130km trip in just three days. We a mix of warm days, cool nights and a complete lack of bugs, we had a great time for our first trip of the year. Enjoy!!
