The crisis in the real estate sector is intensifying: Bankruptcies and developers who have overextended themselves financially are on the rise. This also affects thousands of small investors who wanted to profit from the real estate boom of recent years. Through online platforms such as Rendity, they lent money to real estate companies – so-called "crowd investments." These small investors were promised very high interest rates, which were indeed paid out for several years.
