Tuesday Talks | The Things I Thought I’d Have Figured Out By 40

#podcast #lifelessons #perspective #vlog When I was younger, I thought there was a point in life when everything would finally make sense. I thought by 40, I’d have my career figured out, my finances figured out, my health figured out, and pretty much every major question in life answered. Well… I’m 40 now. And I’ve learned that life doesn’t work that way. In this week’s episode of Tuesday Talks with Michael, I’m reflecting on the things I thought I’d have figured out by now—and what I’ve actually learned instead. We talk about career paths that don’t go according to plan, how aging has changed my perspective on fitness and running, what confidence really means, why family history matters more to me today than it did twenty years ago, and how my definition of happiness has evolved over time. This isn’t a list of life lessons or advice. It’s simply an honest conversation about getting older, changing priorities, and realizing that nobody has all the answers. The older I get, the more I understand that life isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about continuing to learn, adapt, and grow. Whether you’re in your 20s, 40s, 60s, or somewhere in between, I think most of us are asking many of the same questions. And maybe that’s part of the journey. Thank you for listening and being part of these conversations every week.
