I Got My OSCEOLA COUNTY LIBRARY CARD Just to Learn About SNAKES 🐍

Today’s adventure took me to the Osceola County Public Library in Celebration, Florida to see if I could finally get my library card! I honestly expected the process to be complicated since my driver’s license still lists my old Brevard County address in Indian Harbour Beach, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy. Of course, I couldn’t leave without browsing the Florida history and nature shelves. As Michael and I continue preparing for our upcoming Florida Python Hunt in the Everglades, I picked up several books to help us learn more about the region. I checked out a book about the Everglades, another about the fascinating history of the Seminole Wars, and I even found a beautiful guide to Florida’s freshwater springs as a surprise for Michael—and he absolutely loved it! Back at home, I dove into the chapter on Florida’s invasive species, where the book highlighted the growing impact of Burmese pythons in the Everglades and why they’re such a serious ecological threat. The more we learn before our trip, the more excited we are to experience this unique conservation effort firsthand. If you enjoy Florida history, libraries, nature, wildlife, conservation, and following along as we prepare for the Florida Python Challenge, you’re in the right place! #Florida #Everglades #FloridaPythonChallenge #BurmesePython #InvasiveSpecies #OsceolaCounty #CelebrationFL #PublicLibrary #FloridaHistory #FloridaSprings #WildlifeConservation #NatureVlog #DailyVlog #SouthFlorida #LibraryHaul #FloridaAdventure
