Off-Grid Cabin in the Tablelands: 3 Days of Backcountry Skiing

Adventures with Cole Ep. 21 3 Days Skiing from an Off-Grid Cabin in the Tablelands No power. No service. Just us and 3 days deep in the Tablelands. We drive to Gros Morne National Park on the west coast of Newfoundland and begin our trip from Woody Point, heading into the backcountry on skis toward a remote off-grid cabin. Climbing into higher ground, we push 5km through rugged terrain before finally reaching the cabin. After unloading our gear and collecting water from a nearby brook, we settle in for the night—ending day one with a meal before getting some rest. On day two, we set out on an expedition deeper into the Tablelands, skiing through a valley carved by a winding brook, surrounded by terrain that feels more like the Earth’s mantle than anywhere else. After a full day of exploring, we make our way back to the cabin—where this part of the story ends… for now. I hope you had fun on this adventure & thank you for watching!
