Our Harley-Davidson Sportster XL 1200N project is finally moving forward – and this time it's getting really exciting! 🔥 In this video, the Sportster is getting a new exhaust system from Iron Devil. But as is often the case with a real custom build, not everything is simply plug and play. The mufflers didn't fit the existing holes directly, so we had to come up with something. This meant experimenting, adjusting, designing brackets, and creating our own solution until everything fit perfectly. It's precisely these moments that make a custom build so interesting. Once the exhaust system was secured, we moved on to the next visual highlight: We wrapped the headers and the surrounding area with heat wrap, which gives the Sportster an even more aggressive and unique look. 😈 At the same time, we continued working on the tank. We applied another coat of epoxy resin, sanded it again, then applied another coat of epoxy resin, sanded it again – step by step towards the perfect finish. This meticulous attention to detail takes time, but ultimately makes all the difference. This video perfectly illustrates how such a custom build is truly done: It's not simply a matter of swapping parts, but rather adjusting, testing, improving, and refining the bike step by step.
