To be clear, this episode is not about criticizing cover artists. Many of these covers are beautiful, iconic, and beloved. More often than not, artists were creating exactly what publishers commissioned them to create. But sometimes marketing decisions, genre trends, and publisher expectations produced some truly legendary mismatches between cover and content. Which books made the list?
