Ep081 - Ten OVERRATED Books

I've decided to take the plunge and make a video on Overrated books. In selecting Ten books I've read that I consider the most overrated, I based my selection on 3 potential criteria which the book must have at least one of. These are : 1. Is the book extremely popular among a broad section of society? 2. Is it considered a cult book among some groups or in its genre? 3. Was the book a winner of, or nominated for, a major literary award? I apologise in advance if I upset big fans of certain books. That's not my intention and I've tried to give an honest opinion and reason for why I feel the way I do. I'd be keen to know what books you consider overrated so I am nominating various booktubers to make videos on their choices below.
