From Finestrat to Benidorm, a mountain hike, massive market, and a medieval feast make day five unforgettable. Welcome to Day Five of our Finestrat & Benidorm holiday vlog 🇪🇸 Today’s adventure begins at the Magic Tropical Splash Hotel in Finestrat, where the sun is shining and the Costa Blanca is in full holiday mode. I head out solo on a spontaneous walk towards the historic Watchtower of Aguiló, one of the oldest and best-preserved watchtowers in the Valencia region, offering incredible views over Finestrat, Benidorm, and the Mediterranean Sea. Along the way, I explore a huge local market near Benidorm, packed with souvenirs, gifts, clothing, and holiday bargains, easily one of the longest markets I’ve ever walked through. After the hike and the heat, it’s time to refuel before heading out for the evening. Later, we leave the Magic Tropical Splash Hotel and travel to the famous medieval dinner show at the Robin Hood venue near Benidorm, featuring live horses, jousting, themed entertainment, and a full medieval-style meal. What started with low expectations turned into one of the most enjoyable nights of the holiday.
