Psicologia e compromisso social no Suas: posicionamento ético-político ou "politicamente correto"?
Course link: https://anapincolini.com.br/cursos-2/ In this video celebrating Psychologist's Day, we review the trajectory of the concept of "psychology's social commitment," as well as the risks of this concept being captured by the discourse of "political correctness" and a "psychology of good," and losing its transformative power. We question the fallacy of neutrality among researchers and psychologists, as we are historically and socially implicated in the reality of which we are a part. We trace the historical trajectory of psychology: from an elitist profession committed to the interests of the ruling class to a profession committed to ensuring rights as one of its objectives.
